Whenever you visit a website you leave a copy of it in a local cache (local memory). The reason it works like this is in case you may wish to revisit the website. In which case it will try to load from the local memory rather than getting another copy from the web. The reason it does this is so that it makes it appear to run faster.

It also means that there is a copy of the page(s) you have viewed on your local device. To erase this history you need to go to the browser settings or options, select History, or Privacy. Within these tabs there will be the option to erase history. Many allow you to erase your recent history. Click on the option to clear the recent history if you have recently visited the site.
